Let the good times roll

Hey all, DJFroghat back from the dead with a great few songs to kick start pre-July 4th weekend (what better way to redeem myself?)

First up is a nice chill (sort of) dubstep remix of Crave You, done by the Adventure Club. I've never heard of these guys before but after hearing this I think I'll have to check them out, I'm sure you all would agree:

Next is yet ANOTHER new cut from Skrillex, this time a remix collab with Nero himself. This one is called Promises and it's pretty dope. Rather dance-able too, not like some of his other new stuff which, while awesome, is just melt-your-face-off heavy. [No soundcloud available so you'll have to make do with the obnoxiously large youtube video. Sorry! Watch in HD for full effect.]

Next up is an awesome mash-up from new-to-me mashup artist 5 & A Dime. These guys (or guy... or girl... whoever) have more of a Super Mash Bros. style in that they mix multiple songs together in sometimes disjointed ways (as opposed to the White Panda, who focus more on straightforward 1v1 mashups). While I've grown tired of SMB and their style lately, 5 & A Dime struck gold mixing Deadmau5 and Skrillex. I mean seriously. How has no one done this yet?!? Well, like the dude who patented the snuggie and the person who made zip-off cargo pants (admit it, you all wore those in elementary school...) these guys get credit for creating this brilliant union of two things that seem destined for one another. Pants + Shorts. Blanket + Robe. Now, Deadmau5 + Skirllex. I'll shut up now and let the music speak for itself:

Finally, I know this song has been around for a while, but it's just so amazing that it deserves attention here. It's a Flux Pavillion and Doctor P remix of Louder by DJ Fresh. Yes, the same DJ Fresh as Gold Dust, and the same Flux Pavillion that remixed it. I think you guys know where this is going, but I have to confess that I think I like louder more that Gold Dust. Like a lot more. Like, maybe top 5, easily top 10 dubstep songs in my book. Right here. Decide for yourselves:

Hopefully now that I've settled into a rhythm here on campus I'll have more frequent posts. Until then, keep calm and rage on!
